BoBo West Kirby

A pleasant surprise! Just came for a walk in West Kirby. Felt hungry and found Bobo. What a little gem. Our tapas were delicious, cooked to Perfection. The waiter was warm, friendly and knowledgeable Thank you

After the negative reviews under the previous management my wife and I were a bit unsure of going back after they reopened. However, we popped in for a last minute lunch on Friday. In short, the food was just superb (croquets, cod, tomato on focaccia etc), and the coffee piping hot. The waiting staff were just lovely, friendly and attentive, but not too much and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the place. Very enjoyable, and we might just treat ourselves to a Bobo breakfast soon. Glad to see it back.

If I could give 6 stars for the service and food I would. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had on the Wirral. The setting is top quality but it’s just a massive shame that the restaurant wasn’t packed. It certainly deserves to be as you won’t get a better place bang for your buck. Highly recommended!

Authentic tasty Spanish tapas beautifully presented. Great menu options and good value for money. Much better than most tapas places in the Merseyside region. Service and atmosphere were also very good. Would highly recommend.

The service and attention are incredible. But the food is something else. From the first course of Manchego cauliflower croquettes, delicious. Even the pork belly and cod loin and desserts such as sorbets and rice pudding. You can feel the quality and freshness of the food. Thank you. We’ll be back.

Bobo has reopened under new management. It has continued it's focus on food from the Iberian peninsula but moved away from the previous tapas style. I had belly pork with Bobo (bravas) patatas, followed by a pastel de nata. It was really really nice. The staff were really knowledgeable and helpful. Good luck guys!

Max is amazing! We booked to go to Bobo thinking the wine flight experience would be available but upon arrival we were told it was only at one location, not the one we were at… However Max went out of his way to make this happen for us and created such a lovely night for us all. He taught us so much about the wines and we ate delicious food while being looked after so well, he literally couldn’t have done more for us. Bobo should launch wine flights in the WK branch , they are brilliant!!! Xx

Had an amazing evening here - we asked if they would do the wine flight for us that they offer in castle street - and the fabulous Max did it for us. We tried some great Spanish and Portuguese wines (and took some home as they were so good) & Max talked us through each one. The tapas was also excellent and paired really well with the wines. A great holiday vibe even on a cold and wintery Thursday night. Really hope the wine flight becomes permanent! And a big thank you to Max
